The start of a new school year is approaching, and like many children, the young royals will likely be preparing their school supplies and ensuring their uniforms are ready. They may also be finishing any summer assignments they were given. For Prince George, this week holds a particular significance as he begins his final year at Lambrook School.
Lambrook only educates students through Year 8, meaning George will soon need to transition to a new school. While not officially announced, it is widely speculated that George will follow in his father's footsteps and attend Eton College next September.
Another potential option is Marlborough College, the school in Wiltshire where Princess Kate was a student. This move will represent a significant shift for the future king, who has not yet lived away from his family. However, if he attends Eton College, located in Windsor, he will remain close to his parents, who are expected to visit frequently. The official announcement regarding Prince George's next school is still pending from Kensington Palace.

I think it's wonderful that George will be following in family footsteps. It shows a sense of tradition and belonging.

Is it really necessary for Prince George to go to Eton? Surely there are better schools that focus on character over elitism.

Eton offers opportunities that could help shape him into a great leader. Let’s support that!

This just shows how out of touch the royals are with the struggles of everyday families. Not everyone gets to choose between exclusive schools.

This fixation on royal education makes it seem like school is just another status symbol. Schooling should be about learning, not image.
