Costa Rican authorities have announced the seizure of approximately three tons of cocaine at the Moin Container Terminal in the Caribbean province of Limón. The significant drug haul was discovered hidden within a container of fresh fruit that was destined for Germany. The Ministry of Public Security confirmed the discovery, which occurred on Sunday, October 19, with the announcement made on Monday, October 20.

The illicit cargo was found stacked in sacks inside the shipping container. Following the discovery, law enforcement officials arrested the driver transporting the cargo, identified as a 32-year-old man. He has been placed in the custody of the Public Prosecutor's Office as the investigation continues.
