Livigno, Italy – Chinese snowboarder Su Yiming has delivered China its first gold medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, winning the men's slopestyle final on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. The victory, achieved on his 22nd birthday, marks a significant moment for both Su and the Chinese delegation.
Competing at the Livigno Snow Park, Su secured his gold with an impressive 82.41 points on his first run, a score that ultimately remained unbeaten throughout the competition. Japan's Taiga Hasegawa earned the silver medal with 82.13 points, while American Jake Canter claimed bronze with 79.36 points.

He previously made headlines at the Beijing 2022 Games, where he won a gold medal in Big Air and a silver medal in Slopestyle.
