The tragic incident occurred at approximately 3:00 AM on Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli. Police reports indicate that the collision involved a TVS Jupiter motorcycle, ridden by Ms. Gonzalez, and a Kia Picanto car, driven by a 21-year-old man from Marsaskala.

Emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene to provide assistance to the injured woman. Despite their efforts, Ms. Gonzalez was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.
