On one hand, the public needs reassurance that individuals facing multiple serious charges are not free to re-offend. On the other, the principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' is a cornerstone of our legal system and shouldn't be overlooked in the rush to judgment.

While the charges are certainly serious and public safety is paramount, it's crucial that due process is strictly followed. Everyone, even those accused of terrible crimes, deserves a fair legal battle.

The system moves so slowly, yet detention is instant. Inconsistent.
