Kuwaiti authorities have apprehended a police officer from the Capital Governorate on charges of fabricating false criminal cases and forging official reports to facilitate the illegal deportation of expatriates. The officer is accused of demanding 500 Kuwaiti Dinars (KD) for each case, exploiting his position for personal financial gain. The arrest was made by investigators in Abu Fatira on December 13, 2025.

According to security sources, the accused officer deliberately filed fictitious accusations and created fraudulent reports to initiate deportation proceedings against unsuspecting expatriates. These individuals were allegedly targeted under the threat of arrest and forced removal from Kuwait. The officer reportedly received advance payments of KD 500 per case to carry out this illegal scheme.

Sting Operation Leads to Arrest and Confession

The arrest followed a meticulously planned sting operation. A security source revealed that an expatriate posed as an individual seeking to have someone else deported. The officer was caught red-handed accepting the marked sum of KD 500. During interrogation, the accused officer reportedly confessed to all charges before the Public Prosecution, admitting to abusing his authority for personal benefit.
