Woman Stabbed Seven Times in Qualiano, Ex-Partner Under House Arrest Arrested for Attempted Murder

A 35-year-old woman was brutally attacked and stabbed multiple times in Qualiano, Naples, during the night between November 22 and November 23, 2025. The incident occurred within the Cerqua residential park on Via Filippo Turati. Emergency services were alerted around 9 PM, finding the woman on the street with severe injuries.

The victim sustained at least seven stab wounds, primarily to her abdomen and the back of her head, with additional injuries to her arms and legs. She was transported to San Giuliano hospital in Giugliano in critical condition, classified as a 'code red,' but was conscious upon arrival. While her condition remains serious, medical professionals have indicated that her life is not in danger.

Ex-Partner Arrested for Evasion and Attempted Murder

Following the attack, the woman's 29-year-old ex-partner, originally from Calvizzano, was apprehended by the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile section of Giugliano. He has been arrested on charges of evasion and attempted murder.

Investigations revealed that the assailant was already under house arrest with an electronic bracelet. This precautionary measure had been imposed due to prior charges of mistreatment filed by the same victim against him. He reportedly evaded his house arrest to carry out the violent assault.

Investigation and Judicial Proceedings

The Carabinieri's swift response and investigation led to the identification and capture of the suspect. His arrest was facilitated by the victim's testimony and the analysis of surveillance footage from the area. The man has since been transferred to prison, awaiting further judicial proceedings.
