Widespread Burglaries Reported Across Luxembourg

The Grand Ducal Police have confirmed a significant increase in criminal activity, reporting a series of break-ins and attempted burglaries that occurred across various communes throughout Luxembourg from Friday evening to Saturday morning. Valuables were reported stolen in several of these incidents, leading to immediate police action and the launch of multiple investigations.

Details of Incidents Across Communes

Successful break-ins were recorded in several locations, where perpetrators managed to gain entry and steal items. These communes include Belair, Bivels, Nacher, Grevenmacher, and Mamer. In each of these cases, police confirmed that valuables were taken.

In addition to the successful burglaries, a number of attempted break-ins were also reported. These incidents occurred in the Bonnevoie neighbourhood of Luxembourg City, as well as in the communes of Dudelange, Fentange, and Leudelange. In these instances, the suspects reportedly fled the scene after being spotted by residents, preventing the completion of the thefts.
