Global Energy Leaders Converge in Abu Dhabi
The ADIPEC 2025, the world's largest and most influential energy event, officially commenced today in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the four-day gathering at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi is set to run from November 3 to 6, 2025. Organized by ADNOC and dmg::events, the event brings together global energy leaders, policymakers, and innovators to address the evolving energy landscape.
With an anticipated attendance of over 205,000 visitors from 172 countries, ADIPEC 2025 features more than 2,250 exhibiting companies and over 1,800 speakers across 380+ sessions. The event aims to foster new partnerships, showcase pioneering technologies, and reaffirm global commitments towards a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable energy future.
Key Themes and Strategic Dialogue
This year's ADIPEC is centered around the theme 'Energy. Intelligence. Impact.', reflecting a powerful truth about the necessity of intelligently harnessing resources for meaningful results in economies. Another theme highlighted is 'Smart Energy for Accelerated Progress', emphasizing the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with energy systems. The comprehensive conference program, spanning 12 dedicated programs, will cover the entire energy value chain, including discussions on emerging economies, natural gas and LNG, refining, manufacturing, marketing, and chemicals, as well as diversity, leadership, and development.
During the opening ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, delivered a keynote address. He called for a balanced and inclusive approach to meeting the world's growing energy demand, advocating for the reinforcement of energy sources rather than their replacement. Dr. Al Jaber emphasized the importance of policy pragmatism, the embrace of AI, capital investment, and infrastructure development to optimize energy, attract capital, and advance technology.
