The incident led to a heavy police presence, road closures around the Capitol complex, and the evacuation of several state buildings before an 'all-clear' was issued by authorities.

Coordinated Police Response and Road Closures

The threat was reported just after 2 a.m., prompting a swift and coordinated response from law enforcement. The Atlanta Police Department and the Georgia Capitol Police Department were on the scene, with reports indicating that the Capitol Police were initially notified by the Covington Police about a potential threat.
