INNOPROM. Belarus International Industrial Exhibition to Open in Minsk

Minsk Prepares for Major Industrial Showcase

The international industrial exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus is scheduled to commence in Minsk from September 29 to October 1, 2025. This marks the first time the Belarusian capital will host this significant industrial event, which aims to foster technological partnership and industrial cooperation. The exhibition will take place at the BELEXPO International Exhibition Center.

Extensive Participation and Key Themes

The event is poised to be a substantial gathering, with approximately 7,000 participants and visitors from 22 countries already registered, and an anticipated total of 10,000 attendees. Over 500 organizations are expected to showcase their products and innovations. Belarus itself will be represented by 70 stands, featuring nearly 200 Belarusian enterprises. Russia will also have a strong presence, with both regional expositions and individual industry companies participating.

The exhibition's core objectives include showcasing cutting-edge technologies, facilitating discussions on industrial cooperation, and establishing new business contacts, particularly within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) countries. Key thematic areas will encompass:

  • Mechanical engineering
  • Industrial and IT technologies
  • Metallurgy and materials
  • Manufacturing automation
  • Chemical industry
  • Manufacturing sector services

A central plenary session, titled 'Union of New Technologies: Creating the Industry of the Future,' will focus on industrial cooperation between Russia and Belarus to achieve common technological goals.

Showcasing Belarusian Innovation

The Belarusian exposition, organized by the Belinterexpo unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), will highlight several unique exhibits. Notable Belarusian innovations include:

  • The MAZ-X tractor from the Minsk Automobile Works, described as a 'latest development' with 'no analogues'
  • A 'Union State machine' fully equipped with Belarusian and Russian components by Stankogomel JSC
  • New refrigerators from ATLANT, which are presented as full analogues of European, Korean, and Japanese models with nearly 100 percent localization

Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the BelCCI, emphasized that the exposition is based on products created through industrial cooperation between enterprises of the Union State. The event is expected to be a key platform for strengthening industrial integration and technological cooperation.

7,000 visitors isn't that major for an "international" event. Seems more regional than global.

While the focus on CIS/EAEU cooperation is strategically important for regional integration, it might limit exposure to diverse global technologies and markets. It's a double-edged sword for long-term innovation.

Focusing only on Russia and Belarus limits real growth. Where's the broader international collaboration?

MAZ-X tractor sounds impressive. Real innovation happening in the Union State!

"Union State machine" sounds more like a political statement than a genuine technological breakthrough.
