Tucker Carlson Sounds Alarm on Rising Violence and Discrimination

Tucker Carlson has brought attention to the concerning situation of Christians in Israel, a topic often avoided in mainstream discussions. The core issue is the alleged persecution of Christians, with the uncomfortable reality being that Jewish hardliners are reportedly the primary instigators of this anti-Christian sentiment.

A recent report highlighted the surge in violence against Christians in the Holy Land during 2024. The report documented a significant number of attacks, encompassing physical assaults on religious figures and acts of vandalism targeting churches, monasteries, and religious symbols. The perpetrators were identified as young, ultra-Orthodox Jews.

The survey revealed that a substantial percentage of young Christians are contemplating leaving Israel, primarily due to the increasing discrimination and violence they face. This situation affects a population of approximately 180,000 Christians, who constitute a small percentage of the overall Israeli population.

Radical Jewish settlers are reportedly escalating their attacks, particularly in Taybeh, the last remaining all-Christian town in Palestine. Concerns have been raised regarding the lack of protection provided by Israeli authorities, with reports of soldiers and police ignoring pleas for assistance.

Mother Agapia Stephanopoulos, a Greek Orthodox nun, has stated that the persecution of Christians, including land grabs, is not solely driven by Israeli settlers but is also a result of state policy. Furthermore, the destruction of Christian sites in Gaza, which house some of the world's oldest Christian locations, has been noted. The deliberate targeting of Christian churches, such as the ancient Orthodox Church of St. Porphyrius, by the Israeli military has also been highlighted. Mother Agapia emphasizes that these actions are not accidental. She believes that the targeting of Christians in the Holy Land and beyond is part of a larger project.
