The Chinese Football League (CFL) has officially reprimanded the Tianjin Jinmen Tiger Football Club's home venue due to misconduct by its fans during a recent game. As part of the disciplinary actions, a one-match ban was placed on specific sections of the south stand, particularly sections D110 and the odd-numbered rows of D111, which are usually populated by the "Tiger Wings Supporters' Group".
The disciplinary measures come after an incident that occurred during the Round 17 match between the Tianjin Jinmen Tiger and Chengdu Rongcheng on July 18 at Tianjin TEDA Football Stadium. Reports from the match supervisor, along with video evidence and a subsequent disciplinary hearing, revealed that a fan identified only by his surname, Jiang, incited abusive shouts towards a Chengdu player both during the warm-up period and throughout the match. This behavior has been described by the league as having a "severe negative social impact."
In related actions, the Tianjin Football Association announced that Jiang has been placed under administrative detention for seven days as per the Tianjin Public Security Bureau's decision, and he has been prohibited from attending any future matches. Additionally, in a separate statement released early Sunday, the CFL condemned all forms of verbal abuse directed at players and their families, labeling such actions as detrimental to football culture and a serious disruption to the orderly conduct of the league.

This reinforces that the sport is about the game, never hate.

The league is being too politically correct. Let the fans be fans!

The league's making an example out of one fan. It's all for show.
