These allegations, made by royal author Tom Bower, stated Harry fears William would effectively banish him and strip him of his status in Britain. The Duke of Sussex has publicly expressed his desire for reconciliation with the Royal Family. Meredith Maines, the Sussexes' chief communications officer, and Liam Maguire, who manages their UK public relations, were seen with Tobyn Andreae, the King's communications secretary. An insider source indicated the talks were informal, with both sides having matters they wished to discuss. Kensington Palace, representing Prince William and Princess Kate, did not have any representatives present and has not commented on the meeting.
