Autocraft (UAE) signed an agreement with Shanghai TCab Technology Co., Ltd. for 350 E20 eVTOL aircraft, worth $1 billion. This is China's largest eVTOL order to date.
The deal allows TCab Tech to expand its E20 aircraft for tourism and urban air mobility in the Middle East and North Africa. Deployment will begin in Abu Dhabi, then expand regionally. TCab Tech's cost advantage comes from China's established supply chains.
The partnership combines TCab Tech's eVTOL expertise with Autocraft's operational strengths. The E20 is a five-seat tilt-rotor aircraft with a 200km range and 320km/h top speed.
Autocraft cited TCab Tech's technology and safety focus as key. TCab Tech has overseas subsidiaries. Discussions are underway for airworthiness certification and operational regulations.
The first deliveries are planned after CAAC airworthiness certification. Experts say China's low-altitude economy is rapidly developing.
