Protester Misidentified as Actor Wyatt Russell in Viral Video

Despite the resemblance, a representative for Wyatt Russell confirmed that the person in the video was not the actor. The video has since been updated on X to clarify the misidentification.

The actual protester was identified as Aaron Fisher, a former staffer and current partner at a media company specializing in digital campaigns for progressive political candidates. Interestingly, the Marvel universe features a character named Aaron Fischer, adding to the unusual circumstances.

Fisher himself found the mix-up amusing and expressed that the message of the protest was more important. He stated his intention to continue peaceful protests against the deployment of the National Guard. He also shared screenshots of personal attacks he received from some X users.

The protests in California, triggered by ICE raids, have continued for several days. The situation has escalated, with President Trump deploying additional National Guard members and the Pentagon preparing active-duty Marines. The protests have involved clashes, vandalism, arrests, and vehicle fires, but no fatalities have been reported.
