Indian students in France to get 5-year post-study work visa

Modi has said that Indian students who are pursuing their Master's degrees in France will now receive a five-year post-study work visa. Indian students also received a two-year work visa. PM Narendra Modi addressed the Indian community at La Seine Musicale in Paris, addressing the Indian community. Earlier France used to give two-year post-study visa to Indian students, now Indian students will be given a five-year post-study work visa. The Indian foreign ministry has reported that there has been a steady increase in the number of Indian students studying in France over the last three years. After the US, UK, Germany, and Australia, France is among the top five study destinations for international students. The affordable tuition fees and quality education draw numerous international students to France yearly over 4 million yearly in the 2021 - 22 session.
