Mumbai Central Railway shares update for train services

The Mumbai Central Railway division of the Mumbai Central Railway has shared an important update for users of Mumbai local train services on central and harbour lines. The Central Railway in a communication said that it will carry out engineering and maintenance works on various sections today 23rd July which will impact traffic on these routes: Matunga-Mulund Up and Down fast lines from 11.05 am to 3.55 PM and Panvel-Vashi Up and Down Harbour lines from 11.05 am to 4.05 PM excluding Belapur Nerul-Kharkopar line mega block is suspension of traffic on a long stretch due to maintenance work. Passengers are asked to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this maintenance block, the Central Railway said. Central Railway said: If down fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.25 am to 3.35 PM will be diverted o n down slow line between Matunga and Mulund station halting as per their respective scheduled halts. It also said that fast trains beyond Thane could be re-diverted o n Down fast line and will arrive 15 minutes behind schedule. Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 3.46 PM will be diverted as per their scheduled halts and will be re-diverted o n Up fast line and will arrive 15 minutes behind schedule, the Central Railway said. Central Railway said that due to maintenance work, Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai will leave Panvel from 10.33 am to 3.49 PM and Dn Harbour line services to Panvel Belapur leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 9.45 am to 3.12 PM will remain cancelled. It also said that up Transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 11.02.m to 3.53m will be cancelled and down Transharbour line services towards Panvel leaving Thane from 10.01m to 3.20m will remain cancelled. Central Railway said special suburban trains will run during the block period of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Vashi section during the block period. Transharbour line services will also be available during the block period, according to Central Railway, between Thane-Vashi Nerul stations. Suburban services between Belapur - Kharkopar and Nerul Kharkopar will run as per schedule during the block period.
