NDRF team conducts rescue operation in Junagadh

Amidst the incessant rain battering several parts of Gujarat, the National Defence Response Forces (NDRF) team conducted a rescue operation on Saturday in the Junagadh district of the region. The NDRF staff reached out to the general public, helping them to cross the city's flooded and waterlogged areas into safer areas. Earlier on Saturday, a man was found in Navsari City during the monsoon rain spells. The search for the missing person is ongoing, according to the district administration. The collector of Navsari said that no casualties were reported. Our 40 teams are there at the spot, according to the company's website. No loss of life reported, but one person is missing, and search has been underway, Navsari's collector Amit Prakash Yadav said. The heavy rains between 8 and 12 am led to water logging in many parts of Navsari. Water has receded almost everywhere, but some low-lying areas are still waterlogged, Yadav said. A red alert was issued for Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Amreli, Jamnagar Gir Somnath, Bhavnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, whereas for Ahmedabad, Anand, Bharuch, Banaskantha, Bharuch, Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Amreli, Jamnagar Gir Somnath, and Kutch. A yellow alert was issued for Surendranagar, Dahod, Junagadh, Vinagadh, Rajkot, Botad, Vadodara, Surat, and Navsari. The NDRF said that each team has been deployed in Gujarat in the wake of heavy outpours on Wednesday in the state.
